Privacy and cookies

No accounts, nothing stored by us
You do not sign up, and we do not keep the addresses you look up. The site is a single web page with no database of its own. The report is put together in your browser.
Where your search goes
To build the report, your browser sends the address or postcode, or the map point, straight to these public services:
- postcodes.io (postcode details) and OpenStreetMap Nominatim (finding the address)
- HM Land Registry (sold prices and the House Price Index)
- planning.data.gov.uk (planning constraints, listed buildings and the title boundary)
- Environment Agency flood monitoring, data.police.uk and Open-Meteo (height above sea level)
- Photon by Komoot and the Overpass servers (nearby places from OpenStreetMap)
- Esri and OpenStreetMap map tiles, and cdnjs (the map software)
Each service sees your IP address and what was asked, as with any website, under its own privacy policy. The address is also in the page link so a report can be shared. Anyone you send the link to will see the same address.
Links to other sites
The "one click" links (EPC, council tax, flood risk and others) open other websites. Some include your postcode or map point so you land on the right place.
Adverts and cookies
The site is free and is paid for by Google AdSense adverts. Google and its partners may use cookies to show adverts and measure them. In the UK and EU you are asked first, and you can choose not to have personalised adverts. You can change this at any time from the privacy link Google shows, or in Google ad settings. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We set no cookies of our own. The page may remember small settings in your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device.
Not advice
The report is general information from public data. The value is a rough guide from index figures, not a valuation. The plot outline is the Land Registry index map, which shows the general position of boundaries. Check with a surveyor, solicitor or the council before you rely on anything here.
